I am Desiree Lama, a third year Neuroscience major with a minor in Educational Pyschology and obtaining a certificate in Applied Statistics at the University of Texas at Austin.

Having been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 17, I am now on the path of researching and studying this disease along with other similar autoimmune diseases of the central nervous system in hopes of finding cures. I have found a love for statistics and RStudio during my time at UT Austin. I enjoy trying different coffees and I love cats!
